My deep curiosity about the world and how its beings dance this life has its genesis in a childhood spent on a farm in South Africa. A child of English, Dutch and German emigrants, raised in no small part by a Zulu nanny, I grew up to appreciate the diverse tapestry of our world. It is this which keeps me in a constant state of fascination about my surroundings, no matter where I find myself.
A childhood spent exploring untrodden paths ignited my wanderlust. I have journeyed since leaving school, and have been privileged to experience many cultures and landscapes of our beautiful planet. The still untamed parts of the world truly capture my imagination.
It is with a sense of awe and wonder through which I observe the world. The divine order in nature and its reflection in people’s creations inspires me to reveal the beauty of our everyday surroundings.
